Johannes Larcher, Head of HBO Max International, esce da WarnerBros. Discovery. Esce dal gruppo anche Luis Duran, General Manager di HBO Max in America Latina. Larcher e Duran sono solo gli ultimi due manager WarnerMedia a subìre i contraccolpi della fusione tra il gruppo e Discovery. Larcher era stato recentemente ospite al MipTv, dove aveva illustrato le strategie di HBO Max.
I tagli hanno coinvolto anche Tom Ascheim (General Manager Tom Ascheim, TNT, TBS e truTV) e Polly Cochrane (Country Manager Uk e Irlanda).
Secondo quanto riporta C21, i tagli sono stati gestiti da JB Perrette, CEO and president of global streaming and interactive at WBD, che avrebbe già annunciato la nomina di Meredith Gertler (già VP of content strategy and planning per HBO e HBO Max) a Leader of content strategy, scheduling and editorial/merchandising per WBD.
Se ne vanno anche Sarah Lyons, executive VP of direct-to-consumer (D2C) global product management; Brad Wilson, executive VP of growth and revenue; e Jason Press, executive VP of D2C technology and programme management.
Le novità del management, che hanno visto anche una ridefinizione dei team internazionali, dovrebbero proseguire per i prossimi mesi.
